The 11th European Zebrafish Meeting 2020 is finally going to be a virtual meeting. Please find below frequently asked questions related to the change of the 11th European Zebrafish Meeting 2020. This FAQ will be updated regularly as we receive additional questions.
The 11th European Zebrafish Meeting 2020 will take place virtually on 26 and 27 October 2020.
Since the situation of COVID-19 has been still evolving and the number of infections has increased substantially in numerous countries worldwide, given the uncertainty around international travels restrictions and social distancing measures that had to be put in place in many countries, ZEBRAFISH 2020 Organising Committee, alongside with the Scientific Committee, has made the final decision to bring the ZEBRAFISH Meeting to the safety of your home or office and offer you to experience the first ZEBRAFISH VIRTUAL MEETING in real time on your laptop or other electronic device.
You can register for the virtual meeting and do not pay for and ask for the refund of the difference.
If you are not able to attend the virtual Meeting, you may cancel your registration and request a refund.
Please notify your wish to cancel by email to registration@zebrafish2020.org before 15 September 2020. Please also note an administration fee of 50 EUR applies to all registration cancellations. Kindly note that the process for refunds may take up to 60 days depending on the current situation.
Registration to the virtual Meeting will open in August 2020. Please check the Meeting website for updates.
It is not possible to transfer registrations.
For hotel accommodation, please contact the agency or hotel to cancel your booking and check the cancellation conditions.
For flights, contact your airline directly and if you have taken a travel insurance, contact your provider for information about the cancellation procedure. Several airlines offer flight changes or flight vouchers free of charge.
The organisers of the 11th European Zebrafish Meeting cannot be held liable by participants for any damages, costs, or losses incurred, such as transportation and accommodation costs, financial losses, or any other miscellaneous expenses.
You will be automatically refunded for the social events tickets with returning the difference in registrations.
