Registration Guidelines

All participants must Create an Account and register via the Online Registration Form. Please read the instructions below carefully.

Each participant will receive a Registration number by email after the submission of the Online Registration Form. As for payments completed by bank transfer, please proceed with the payment only after receiving your Registration number. Please do not send any payment by bank transfer without the Registration number and participant’s name included in the payment details.

Online registration will be available until 31 December 2020.

Registration Fees

The recipient of the service from the Czech Republic, regardless if they are a VAT payer, the fee is with 21% CZ VAT.

1. The recipient of the service from the EU country who is not VAT payer, the fee is with 21% CZ VAT.
   
2. The recipient of the service from the EU with a valid EU VAT is in the reverse charge system. The fee is with 0% CZ VAT. The VAT payer has to pay VAT by himself.
3. The recipient of the service from a third country, the fee is with 0% VAT.

*Applicant must include a copy of student ID or letter from head of department confirming student status during registration.

Please make sure to pay your registration fee before the deadline applicable for the selected registration type. If your payment is not received in due time, the latter fee will be automatically applied.

Unpaid or partially paid registration will not be considered as valid until fully paid.

All registration deadlines are applicable considering the local time (CET/CEST)

• Presentation sessions including invited speakers and oral presentations selected from top scoring abstracts.
• Poster sessions including pitches.
• Live interactive forums for all oral and poster sessions.
• Interactive lunch and coffee corners: enjoy your own coffee and lunch together.
• Interactive exhibitors´ sessions and satellite symposia.
• Virtual exhibition.
• 2 days access to all of this and access to all presentations and posters 4 weeks after the Meeting.

Grant Application

The EuFishBioMed registration grants are designed to provide financial support for early career researchers to participate in the virtual EZM conferences. The aim is to enhance and strengthen links for future collaboration and enhance the researcher’s career opportunities.

Insurance

Registration fee does not include participant’s insurance against accidents, sickness, cancellation, theft, property damage or loss. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance.

Confirmation

Each participant will receive a registration overview and an email notification confirming the received payment and the amount outstanding after the completion of the Online Registration Form.

Payment

All fees need to be paid in EUR (€), free of all bank charges. Please note that all bank charges need to be covered by the delegate.

By Bank Transfer

Bank transfer payment needs to be identified by the registration number and participant’s full name included in the payment details.
Payment by bank transfer is possible until 12 October 2020. After this date, all payments can be done only by credit/debit card.

Online Payment by Credit/Debit Card

In case of rejected on-line credit/debit card payment, the delegate is recommended to amend his registration online and try to process the payment again. Should the trouble with the payment persist, the participant is advised to contact the credit card issuer/bank first and check if the online transactions are not disabled on his credit card. Afterwards, the amendment of the registration can be processed again.

Final Invoice

Final invoice can be downloaded from the online portal in three weeks after the registration is confirmed and paid in full. If you need assistance with the invoice, please contact the Meeting Secretariat at info@zebrafish2020.org.

The final invoice will be issued based on details provided while registering (step Contact/Invoice details). Any change of such details (address, VAT number etc.) is possible only within 3 days from the registering date and is subject to a 20 EUR fee.

Cancellation / Refund Policy

Cancellation of Registration for Virtual Meeting

• Until 24 August 2020 – 50 EUR administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds
• From 25 August 2020 until 24 September 2020 – 50 % of the fee will be refunded
• From 25 September 2020 - no refund can be processed

If you were already registered for the 11th European Zebrafish meeting 29 June – 2 July 2020

• a) Cancellation of Registration
  
  • Until 30 September– 50 EUR administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds
  • From 1 October 2020 - no refund can be processed
• b) Transfer to the Virtual Meeting registration
  
  • If you would like to transfer your current registration to the Virtual meeting registration you will receive the fee difference back.

General Cancellation Conditions

• All cancellations must be notified in writing (by email or by fax) to C-IN and cannot be done online or over the phone
• Requests for refunds made after 10 November 2020 will not be considered
• For any change of name, a fee of 20 EUR will be charged

Cancellation or modification of the Meeting due to Force Majeure

In the event of a force majeure situation, CZECH-IN S.R.O. reserves the right to alter or cancel the conference without prior notice, including any change of the time and/or venue of the conference. Any occurrence of force majeure event shall be communicated as soon as reasonably possible from the decision time. Force majeure includes any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of CZECH-IN S.R.O. which prevents or impedes the realization of the conference. This includes but is not limited to, government action, war or hostilities, riot or civil commotion, plague or other epidemic such as SARS, bird flu, earthquake, flood, hurricane, cyclone, fire or other natural physical disaster, explosion, accident or breakdown, strike, lack of the usual means of transportation or terrorism. CZECH-IN S.R.O. shall not be liable for any direct or indirect, incidental or consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, losses, expenditures or any other inconveniences or costs caused by such modification or cancellation of the conference. Unless provided otherwise by the applicable mandatory laws, the registration fees will be reimbursed in accordance with the ZEBRAFISH2020 cancellation policy.
